Extension – and Compensating cable
Extension- and compensating cable are affordable, isolated extension-couples of the thermo-element in the principle – transition to the measuring instrument entrance. Extension-cable (X) are from Original-Thermomaterial and are to be received in class 1 as well as in class 2. Compensating-cable (C) are from an alloy of different materials, which behaves similarly, like thermo-material, but only as class 2 defined is (sees table below).

The table shows it to limiting-deviation maximum for Extension- and Compensating–cable , if they are driven within the application-temperature-area, the limit-values are applied to the stated measuring temperatures (last columns).
