sF-Soft solder for Thermocouples and stainless steel
SF-solder is a special solder from a silver-containing alloy with 4 different fluxes, which are separated from one another in a special duct system. Since it is free of lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, zinc and antimony, it can be used in the food industry and conforms to the EU Directive 2002/95 EC prohibited substances in electronic equipment (RoHS). This directive specifies that devices which after the first July 2006 will be placed on the market, must be free (see above) of certain hazardous substances. SF-solder is designed for stainless steel (no blue tint) was developed. It combines Fe, Ni, Cr, copper (Cu), brass, gold, silver and galvanized steel. Due to its high strength and a low melting point, it is a proven solder for nearly all metal compounds.
Typical areas of application:
- Electrical systems
- Thermocouples
- Air Conditioning
- Medical Devices
- Food Industry
- Research and Development
- Automotive
We recommend removing the flux residues after soldering (water soluble).
